This is Tom’s classic pumpkin soup. He’s perfected the soup from Irena Macri’s “eat drink paleo” cookbook. Last week, Tom cooked and dished out a big offering of soup for the whole house. I ate my soup for dinner, for 3 nights in a row. On the third night I dropped some fresh biltong in there. As I ate this soup I found that I had entered into new universe, where flavour, chewiness and meatiness were the only three dimensions that made my reality tangible.
The new and improved soup was delicious. My only regret was that I didn’t figure this out on the first night because now my soup was gone. Sorry Irena but we’ve toppled your dish.. By copying it and adding biltong. That’s a recipe for success. @eatdrinkpaleo
